The annual income of an ACCA member ranges between INR 6.4 and 39.5 LPA, but the figure is lower for an ACCA Affiliate and a fresher. As ACCA members gain experience and expertise, they can expect higher remuneration and career growth in the dynamic fields of accounting and finance.
How long do I have to pass the Applied Knowledge exams?
You have up to 7 attempts at each paper over a 5 year period to successfully pass all 9 papers.
Can I get a job after the skill level in ACCA?
ACCA qualified individuals get easily placed at Big 4 companies like EY, PwC, Deloitte, and KPMG. MNCs including Tata Grant Thornton, Embassy Group, and Pepsico as well recruit ACCA India professionals. Apart from that, Accenture, HSBC, and Shalimar Paints also do look for accountants having ACCA certification.
How many marks are awarded for Applied Knowledge exams?
All Applied Knowledge exams carry a total of 100 marks. These marks are divided amongst different requirements and question types depending on the nature of the paper. Generally, 2 mark and 10 mark questions make up the majority of the paper with some optional 10-15 mark scenario questions also included.
Can I retake the Applied Knowledge and Applied Skills exam if I fail it?
Yes, there is no limit on the number of attempts for Applied Knowledge exams. Students can retake the exam again and again until they are able to pass it. With proper preparation and practice, most students are able to clear these exams within 2-3 attempts. Retaking is designed to allow sufficient opportunities to demonstrate the required competencies.
