The UPSC math paper is an optional paper in the main exam. Candidates can appear for the main exam only if they qualify for the prelim paper. Here’s the exam pattern for the main exam.

  • The UPSC mains exam will be an objective type paper.
  • It will consist of an essay writing assessment, four general studies, and two optional papers.
