The Kerala PSC KAS exam is a three-stage process:
- Stage 1: Preliminary Exam – This consists of 2 papers, each containing objective type (MCQs) questions worth 100 marks.
- Stage 2: Mains – This stage includes 3 papers, each of essay/descriptive type and worth 100 marks.
- Stage 3: Interview – This stage carries 50 marks.
