The Department of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare,Government of India recently launched Krishi-Decision Support System (Krishi-DSS), a unique digital geospatial platform aimed at enhancing agricultural decision-making.
Krishi-Decision Support System (DSS), was unveiled by the government as a powerful tool to empower stakeholders with significant features and usage such as providing real-time data-driven insights on weather patterns, valuable information on soil conditions, details about crop health, crop acreage and advisories.
About Krishi-Decision Support System (DSS)
Krishi-Decision Support System (DSS) is a unique platform developed jointly by the Department of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare and Department of Space. Krishi-DSS will enable the administration or government to understand the cropping patterns by analyzing parcel-level crop maps of different years.
