How to Apply Online For Punjab Police Constable Vacancy?

Candidates must submit their applications online through Punjab Police Recruitment 2025 portal. The process involves registration, filling out the application form, and completing the fee payment. Check the steps given below:

Punjab Police Constable Recruitment Selection Process 2025

The selection process will include three stages. The first stage shall be an Objective type Written exam. The second stage will include physical screening test, and physical measurement test and the third stage will include document scrutiny. Hence the candidates will be selected based on the

Stage-I: Computer-Based Test (CBT)

The first stage of the selection process includes a Common Computer-Based Test (CBT) with two papers. Paper-I consists of 100 multiple-choice questions, each carrying one mark. Paper-II is a qualifying Punjabi language test of matriculation standard, containing 50 questions with a minimum qualifying score of 50%. The marks obtained in Paper-II will not be counted for merit determination. There is no negative marking in the CBT exam.

Stage-II: Physical Screening Test & Physical Measurement Test (PST & PMT)

Candidates who qualify Paper-I and Paper-II will be shortlisted based on merit and reservation criteria for the Physical Screening Test (PST) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT). The PST includes Running, Long Jump, and High Jump, while the PMT consists of Height Measurement. The tests are qualifying in nature, and candidates must meet the required physical standards. The schedule for PST & PMT will be available on the recruitment portal, and a separate Admit Card will be issued.

Stage-III: Document Scrutiny

Candidates who clear the PST & PMT will be called for Document Verification. The schedule will be uploaded on the recruitment portal, and candidates must download their Admit Card. They need to carry a hard copy of the Admit Card along with a valid Photo Identity Proof such as Aadhaar Card, Driving License, PAN Card, Voter ID, or Passport. Candidates failing to provide the necessary documents may face disqualification.

Also note that CBT will be divided into two papers and Paper 2 will be qualifying in nature. Apart from this, Stage 2 which is PST/PMT will also be qualifying.

The minimum pay admissible will remain Rs. 19,900/- per month for the first three years from the date of joining.
