1.Designation Renamed & Pay Scale Officially Published
The post of “Clerk” has been officially renamed as Customer Service Associate (CSA). For the first time, a detailed consolidated pay structure has been published. The basic pay starts at ₹24,050 and goes up to ₹64,480 through structured annual increments:

2. Local Language Proficiency Now Mandatory
Candidates must now demonstrate proficiency in the local language of the state/UT they are applying for.
- Skills in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the local language are essential.
- Those who studied the local language in Class 10 or above are exempted.
- Others must pass a Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT) after the Mains exam.
3.Revised Mains Exam Pattern
The Mains exam pattern has been revised to reduce pressure and improve efficiency. Now the total questions have been reduced from 190 to 155. The Exam duration shortened from 160 minutes to 120 minutes and each section is separately timed, ensuring balanced focus across subjects.
4.Digi Locker Integration
IBPS has introduced Digi-Locker integration for easier document management. Means, candidates can now link Digi-Locker accounts for faster uploads. It allows auto-fetching of Aadhaar and academic certificates. This reduces manual errors and saves time during the application process.
5.IBPS Clerk Separate Edit Window
A new "Edit Window" feature has been added post-registration. After the last date of application, candidates will get another chance to edit their details. Edit window dates will be published on the official IBPS website. This helps correct any mistakes made during the initial registration process.
