IBPS Clerk Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT)
Candidates applying for IBPS Clerk vacancies in any specific State or Union Territory must be proficient in the local language of that region. This includes the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the specified or opted language. At the time of online application, candidates must select one local language from the list provided for each State/UT.
Those who have studied the local language in their 10th standard or above (as evidenced by a mark sheet or certificate) will be exempted from the test. The Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT) will be conducted after the Online Main Examination but before final joining. It will be qualifying in nature, and failure to clear this test will result in disqualification from the recruitment process
Is there any Negative Marking in IBPS Clerk 2025 Exam?
Yes, there is negative marking in the IBPS Clerk 2025 Exam for both Prelims and Mains. For every incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted from the total score. However, if a question is left unanswered, no marks will be deducted for that question. Candidates are advised to attempt only those questions they are confident about to avoid unnecessary loss of marks.
