RRB NTPC Admit Card 2025

The RRB NTPC Admit Card is an important document that contains details such as candidates’ name, roll number, exam date and time, exam center address, etc. The RRB NTPC admit card CBT 1 is released four days prior to the examination. It is mandatory for candidates to carry a printed copy of the admit card to the exam center along with a valid ID proof to get entry into the exam hall. The online application dates for NTPC was extended by the RRB for both Graduate and Undergraduate posts. The last date to apply for Graduate posts was 20th October 2024, while for Undergraduate posts, it was 27th October 2024 @www.rrbcdg.gov.in.

RRB NTPC Application Fee 2025

Candidates must ensure they pay the required application fee to complete their RRB NTPC application. The application fee for the RRB NTPC 2025 recruitment varies by category as detailed below.

Step 1: Visit the RRB Website

Visit the website of the Railway Recruitment Board. Click on the link of the respective regional RRB you wish to apply for. On the homepage of the respective RRB's website, click on the link to apply for the RRB NTPC Recruitment.

Step 2: New Registration

Once you click the link to apply for RRB NTPC Recruitment you will be redirected to the next page. Click on 'New Registration'. Enter the required details and register yourself. You will be provided with the registration number and password.

Step 3: Fill Out the NTPC Application Form

Login with the credentials provided during registration. Fill out the Railway NTPC application form carefully and correctly. Check all the entered details. Save the details and proceed further.

Step 4: Upload Documents

Upload your photograph, signature, and reservation certificate (if applicable). Submit your application and take a printout for future reference. This final step completes your application and provides a record for your records. 

Step 5: Pay the Application Fee

Pay the required application fee as per your category. Verify all the details and submit the application form. Keep a printout of the same for reference.

RRB NTPC 2025 Selection Process

The selection of candidates for the RRB NTPC Recruitment is a multi-stage process curated to shortlist the most eligible candidates for these posts. The stage-wise RRB Non-Technical Popular Categories selection process is explained below.

Stage-I Computer-Based Test (CBT 1) 

The first stage of the Railway NTPC selection process is the Computer-Based Test (CBT-1). This stage is common for all notified posts and assesses candidates on General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence and Reasoning. The exam carries a weightage of 100 marks.

Stage-II Computer-Based Test (CBT 2)

The second stage of the selection process is another Computer-Based Test (CBT-2), which further evaluates candidates' proficiency in General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence and Reasoning. The exam comprises 120 questions carrying 1 mark each.

Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) & Typing Skill Test (TST)

Candidates for posts such as Assistant Station Master (ASM) and Traffic Assistant are also required to undergo the Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT). For posts like Senior Clerk cum Typist and Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist, a Typing Skill Test (TST) is conducted. Both these exams are merely qualifying in nature.

Document Verification (DV)

Candidates who qualify based on their performance in the Stage-II CBT and CBAT/TST will be called for Document Verification (DV). This stage involves verifying the authenticity of candidates' educational certificates, identity proofs, and other relevant documents to assess their eligibility for this post.

Medical Examination

The final stage of the RRB NTPC Recruitment process is the Medical Examination, where candidates' fitness levels are assessed to ensure they are capable of performing the duties required by the position. This examination includes tests for vision, hearing, and overall physical health. Only those who pass the medical examination will be eligible for appointment to the Railway NTPC posts.

RRB NTPC 2025 Syllabus

RRB NTPC 2025 Salary

The salary of posts under the NTPC exam is calculated as per the 7th CPC pay matrix and will vary for different posts. The RRB NTPC Salary for level 2 posts like Junior Clerk Cum Typist is in the range of Rs. 19,900 – Rs 63,200/-. For Level 3 posts like Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk the salary range is Rs 21,700 – Rs 69,100. Graduate-level posts offer salaries ranging from Rs 25,500 – Rs 81,100 for level 4 posts to Rs 44,900- Rs 1,42,400 for level 6 posts like Station Masters as per the 7th CPC pay matrix. In addition to basic pay, candidates will also be eligible for allowances like DA & HRA and perks like PF, pension, etc.

RRB NTPC 2025 Answer Key

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will release the official answer keys for the Non-Technical Popular Categories exam after the completion of each stage of the selection process.
