The Application Correction Window is open from 7th July (10:00 AM) to 9th July 2025 (11:59 PM) .Candidates can access the Application Correction Window on upsconline.nic.in. The last date to apply for NDA was 20th June 2025. A total of 406 vacancies have been announced in the official NDA 2 Notification 2025. UPSC conducts NDA and NA Examination twice a year to select candidates for admission into the National Defence Academy and Indian Naval Academy. After the NDA 1 written examination results, some candidates are eagerly waiting for the NDA Exam 2025 notification. The UPSC has already announced NDA Exam date 2025 which is scheduled to be held on 14th September 2025. What is the NDA Exam?

The NDA exam is conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) in India twice a year. Steps To Apply Online For NDA Exam 2025

The applications for the NDA 2025 Exam must be submitted online through the UPSC website. The steps for the same are explained below.

Step 1: Register on UPSC Website

Go to the official website of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and navigate to the One Time Registration (OTR) tab. This step involves creating an account on the UPSC portal, which is necessary for applying for various examinations conducted by UPSC.

Step 2: Start Part I Application

Once registered, proceed to fill out the Part I Online Application form. This form typically includes personal details such as name, date of birth, address, educational qualifications, and other relevant information required for the examination you are applying for.

Step 3: Complete Mandatory Details

Fill in all the mandatory details as indicated in the Part I Online Application form. Mandatory details are those that are essential for processing your application. Make sure to double-check the accuracy of the information before clicking on the Submit button.

Step 4: Receive Registration ID

Upon successful submission of Part I, a unique Registration ID will be generated. This ID is crucial for tracking your application status and for completing further steps in the application process.

Step 5: Pay Application Fees

After receiving your Registration ID, proceed to pay the required application fees through the UPSC portal. Different categories of applicants may have different fee structures, so ensure you are paying the correct amount based on your category.

Step 6: Complete Part II Registration

Once the fees are paid and processed, revisit the UPSC website and select the Part II Registration option. This step involves filling in additional details such as choice of exam center, uploading of documents (if required), and any other necessary information specified in Part II of the application form.

Step 7: Print Application Form

After submitting Part II, take a printout of the complete application form for your reference. This printed copy serves as proof of your application submission and contains important details that you may need during the selection process or for future reference.

UPSC NDA 2025 Application Fee

The candidates belonging to the SC/ST category will not have to pay any examination fee. The fee can be paid either by depositing te money in any branch of SBI by cash or by using the net banking facility of any bank or through Visa/MasterCard/Rupay Credit/Debit Card/UPI. NDA 2025 Eligibility Criteria

For the upcoming NDA exam in 2025, candidates must meet specific educational qualifications and age criteria. Candidates can refer to the below NDA 2025 Eligibility Criteria:

  • For the Army Wing of the National Defence Academy, candidates need a 12th Class pass from a recognized State Education Board or University.
  • For the Air Force and Naval Wings, as well as the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy, a 12th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics is required.
  • Only unmarried male/female candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 2006 and not later than 01st July, 2009 are eligible
  • They must remain unmarried until completing their training.

NDA Exam 2025 Selection Process

The candidates who wish to join the prestigious National Defence Academy will have to undergo an intricate process of selection. The process can broadly divide into two stages namely written examination and SSB examination. The SSB stands for Service Selection Board. The written exam will consist of two papers i.e. Mathematics and General Ability Test.

Written examination

The Union Public Service Commission's Official Notification for NDA Exam 2025 will contain an extensive salary structure. During the training cycle, the Cadets will be paid a fixed stipend of Rs. 56,100/- for the duration of their training in service academies (i.e. during their training period at IMA). The pay in the pay matrix of the Officer commissioned shall be set in the first Cell of Level 10 after good training.
