The Administrative Law tells about the misuse of power in a government by the executives. The history of Indian Company Law started with the Joint Stock Companies Act of 1850. After this, a cumulative process of amendment and consolidation brought us to the most comprehensive and complicated piece of legislation, the Companies Act, of 1956. As of today, the Companies Act 2013 has replaced the companies act of 1956. The new act has 470 sections and 7 schedules against 658 sections and 15 schedules in the 1956 act. Students will be taught the concepts of, Promoters of a company, Memorandum of Association, Articles of Association, Doctrines of Ultra Vires in Company Law, Doctrines of Harmonious Construction, and Doctrine of indoor management in company law.
