The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission will release the official notification for the UPPSC 2023 in the last week of February. The UPPSC conducts Provincial Civil Services Examination every year to recruit eligible candidates into various gazetted posts under vital departments of the state like land records, general administration, land revenue, etc. The exam consists of Preliminary, Mains, and Interview stages to select eligible candidates. The Prelims and Mains exams are conducted at different centers or cities. The Commission will conduct the Prelims of the UPPCS exam in 21 districts of Uttar Pradesh whereas, the mains exam is only in 2 districts. UPPSC PCS Prelims Exam Centres

While filling out the UPPSC PCS application form, candidates will be given a choice to select three desired exam districts to appear for the UPPSC Preliminary exam. Most likely, the candidate will get to appear in one of the exam districts which he/she chose, depending upon availability. UPPSC PCS Mains Exam Centres

The candidates who qualify the preliminary stage of the UPPSC PCS exam are allowed to sit for the mains examination. In a recent notification, the Commission has scrapped the UPPCS optional paper from this session. From this year the mains exam will consist only of 7 papers, all being descriptive in nature. The mains examination is expected to be conducted only in two districts of Uttar Pradesh like the previous cycles. UPPSC PCS Exam Centres 2023 - Documents Required At The Exam Venue

The candidates will get the exact location of their exam centers only after the release of admit cards by the Commission. The Commission releases the admit card well in advance so that candidates can make travel arrangements and appear for the exam without any trouble. After downloading the admit card candidates must take a clear color printout of the UPPSC PCS admit card and keep it handy along with the other important documents that will be required at the exam center, as mentioned on the admit card. • A clear color printout of the UPPSC PCS admit card 2023
• Original copy of Valid Photo Identification Proof like an Aadhar card, College ID, PAN card, Passport, etc.

UPPSC PCS Exam Centres 2023 - Important Points

UPPSC PCS exam is one of the most sought-after examinations after the UPSC Civil Services examination. Therefore the candidates must be aware of all the important guidelines regarding the examination to avoid any hassle on the day of the examination. Below we have mentioned some important points to remember before and at the time of reaching the exam centers in 2023 that must be kept in mind throughout the UPPSC PCS exam.

1. Candidates should visit the UPPSC exam center one day before the examination to avoid any chaos on exam day.
2. In the case of the UPPSC PCS Mains examination, make proper arrangements for accommodation as the Mains exam lasts for 4 to 5 days.
3. The UPPSC exam center mentioned in the UPPSC PCS admit card will be final. And If there will be any change in the center or city, candidates will get an SMS/ call from the authority. 
4. Candidates can be assigned the exam center out of the preferences they chose if the seats available at the exam centers are full.

6. Candidates should carry all the required documents in the exam center, such as admit card, ID proof, photograph, etc.
7. Candidates must not carry any study material, electronic device, edible items, etc to the exam center.
