Age Relaxation in EPFO Upper Age Limit

UPSC EPFO Qualification for EO/AO & APFC
To be eligible to sit for the UPSC EPFO exam , a candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in any relevant discipline. Aspirants having a bachelor’s degree in Law, an M.A. in Business Administration, Five years of degrees in Law, or a postgraduate diploma in Company Secretary, Management, cost and management accountant, and chartered accountants will be preferred.

To be eligible for the said recruitment, the candidates must
- Be a citizen of India
- Be a citizen of Nepal
Note: Candidates from other states will be kept in the general category and cannot avail of relaxation in age limit and other relaxations.
UPSC EPFO Experience Criteria
It is desirable that the candidates hold a suitable experience in the relevant field. This increases their chance of being shortlisted. Candidates bearing a minimum of two years of experience in Accounts, Administration and Legal Matters are desirable.

UPSC EPFO Eligibility - Number of Attempts
There is no mention of such in the official notification about the number of attempts. As long as the candidates meet the eligibility guidelines and age limits, they can apply for the said recruitment through the prescribed format.

UPSC EPFO APFC Eligibility 2025
To be eligible for the UPSC EPFO Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC) 2025 Exam, candidates must meet specific criteria set by the Union Public Service Commission. This criteria is slightly different from the UPSC EPFO EO/AO Eligibility. Check the eligibility requirements below –
- Age Limit: Candidates must be between 21 and 35 years of age as of the last date for submission of the online application.
- Educational Qualification: A bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university is mandatory. While not compulsory, a diploma in Company Law, Labour Laws, or Public Administration is desirable.
- Nationality: Applicants must be:
- Citizens of India, or
- Subjects of Nepal or Bhutan, or
- Tibetan refugees who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of settling permanently, or
- Persons of Indian origin who have migrated from specified countries with the intention of settling permanently in India.
- Experience: While not mandatory, candidates with experience in accounts, administration, or legal matters are preferred.
- Number of Attempts: There is no restriction on the number of attempts, provided the candidate meets the age and educational qualifications.
