Candidates who have made any errors in their application form, especially in personal details, can now log in to the official website, www.ssc.gov.in, and make the required corrections. This facility is available for a short period, so applicants are advised to review their form carefully and submit the updated version before the deadline to avoid any issues later. Candidates are allowed to make changes to their submitted SSC CGL application forms by paying a correction fee. Each applicant can correct their form up to two times.

SSC CGL Application Correction Window 2025

The Staff Selection Commission has opened the application correction window for SSC CGL 2025, allowing candidates a chance to fix any errors in their submitted forms. This facility is available for a limited period, and candidates can make changes only twice. It's important to note that the correction fee must be paid online through options like UPI, Net Banking, or Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, or RuPay).

For the first correction, candidates are required to pay a fee of ₹200. If a second correction is needed, the fee will be ₹500. These charges apply equally to all candidates, regardless of category or gender. Only the most recently submitted corrected form will be accepted by SSC, so ensure all updates are accurate before final submission. Any earlier versions of the application will automatically be treated as cancelled.

Candidates who wish to make changes to their SSC CGL 2025 application form can now access the correction link, which is available on the official SSC website at www.ssc.gov.in. To edit the form, applicants must log in using their Registration ID and Password.

SSC CGL Apply Online Link 2025

Candidates can apply online for the SSC CGL Exam from 9th June 2025 to 4th July 2025. Candidates must register online for the SSC CGL 2025 exam using the registration link activated at www.ssc.nic.in. The online form must be submitted by the registration deadline of 4th July 2025. How to Apply Online for SSC CGL 2025?

The SSC CGL Application Form must be submitted only only through the SSC CGL site (official website of SSC). The application process broadly comprises the following steps:

• Candidates must first complete the One-Time Registration on the new SSC website ssc.gov.in or through the my SSC mobile app. This is mandatory for those who haven't registered on the new platform.
• During OTR, candidates are encouraged to opt for Aadhaar-based authentication. Those not using Aadhaar must upload alternate valid ID documents for verification.
• Before starting the application, keep your mobile number, email ID, Aadhaar or alternate ID proof, 10th exam details, and disability certificate (if applicable) ready for a smooth registration.
• You’ll need to enter personal details, create a password, fill in additional information, and agree to a declaration. Some fields like name, DOB, and parent details must be re-entered for verification.
• The application allows you to capture your photo live during form submission. Ensure the photo is clear, without cap/spectacles, and meets the required specifications.
• Once OTR is complete, log in and proceed to fill the SSC CGL 2025 application form. Ensure all details are correct and make the online fee payment before the deadline.

• After completing One-Time Registration, log in using your registered email ID and password at ssc.gov.in or the mySSC app. Use the latest platform only, as old credentials won’t work.
• On the dashboard, click on “Apply” under SSC CGL Examination 2025. The application form will open with some pre-filled details from your OTR.
• Enter or verify your category, nationality, exam center preference, and qualification details. Ensure your educational data matches the official documents.
• Upload scanned copies of your signature and photograph (if not captured live during OTR), as per size and format guidelines. Candidates with benchmark disabilities may also need to upload the relevant certificate.
• Before submitting, carefully review every section of the application. Make sure all details, uploaded documents, and category selections are correct to avoid rejection.
• Pay the SSC CGL 2025 application fee online via UPI, net banking, or debit/credit cards. Ensure the transaction is successful and save the payment confirmation for future reference.
• Once the fee is paid, submit the form. Take a printout or save a PDF of the final submitted application for your records. This will be needed during further stages of the recruitment process.

The Staff Selection Commission has provided a three-day correction window for candidates who wish to edit or update their SSC CGL 2025 application forms. This facility is only available to those who have successfully submitted their applications and paid the required fee before the last date.

Documents Required For SSC CGL Form Fill Up

Before beginning to fill out the SSC CGL online application form, you need to keep the following documents with you-

• Scanned copies of your photograph and signature. 
• Photo Identity Proof (Aadhaar Card/ Printout of E-Aadhaar, Voter’s ID Card, Driving License, PAN Card, Passport, ID Card issued by University/ College/ School, Employer ID Card (Govt./ PSU), Ex-Serviceman Discharge Book issued by Ministry of Defence, Any other photo bearing ID Card issued by the Central/ State Government.)
• Educational Details –10th Roll Number, Board Name, Marks, Passing year details
• Category Certificates (If applicable)
• PWD Certificate Proof (If applicable)
• PwD Certificate details, if applicable

• Phone Number (valid)

Instructions to Fill SSC CGL Online Application Form

Before filling up the online form for SSC CGL, candidates are advised to go through the instructions for filling up the online form. Candidates should keep the following points in mind while filling the online SSC CGL form –

1. Email Id & Number should be active after filling the form as the Commission will contact candidates using these very credentials. 

2. Claims made by the candidates in the application form should be evidence based with proper documentary proof. The same will be verified at the time of the Certificate Verification and Interview process.

3. Inappropriate photographs and signatures will lead to rejection. The candidate has to stand/sit before the camera when prompted by the application module and follow the following instructions while capturing the photograph:

• Find a place with good light and plain background. 
• Ensure the camera is at eye level before taking the photo. 
• Position himself directly in front of the camera and look straight ahead.
• Ensure that your face is fully inside the red rectangular area delineated by the camera and that it is neither too close nor too far. It should cover the area fully and no part of the face should be outside the rectangle. 
• Candidates shouldn’t wear a cap, mask or glasses/spectacles while capturing the photo

4. Appearance during the day of the examination is as per the photograph in application form, otherwise candidates will not be allowed to the examination hall.

5. In no case should the candidate capture the photographs of his/her pre-existing photograph. All such applications where the photographs of his/her pre-existing photograph is captured will be rejected.
