BPSC AE Exam Analysis 2025, 17th July 

The BPSC AE exam held on 17th July 2025 featured General English (Paper 1) and General Hindi (Paper 2). Both papers were moderate in difficulty, with English focusing on grammar, comprehension, and sentence structure, while Hindi emphasized vocabulary and passage-based questions. Time management is important due to lengthy comprehension sections. 

BPSC AE Exam Analysis 2025, 18th July

On 18th July 2025, candidates will appear for General Studies (Paper 3) and General Engineering Science (Paper 4). Paper 3 includes current affairs, Bihar-related general knowledge, and static GK questions, with a moderate to slightly tough level. Paper 4 test core engineering principles, physics, and applied sciences with conceptual questions that required both memory and logic. BPSC AE Exam Analysis 2025, 19th July

The final day of the BPSC AE 2025 exam, 19th July, coveres technical specialization papers:

  • Paper 5 for Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering
  • Paper 6 for Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering

These papers will be core subject-oriented and moderately to highly challenging. Paper 5 focused on fundamentals and theory, while Paper 6 emphasized numerical problems and application-based questions. Questions tested in-depth knowledge, with Mechanical and Electrical papers having slightly higher difficulty compared to Civil. Time management and precision were essential due to lengthy calculations.

BPSC AE Cut-Off 2025

BPSC AE Exam Pattern 2025

Candidates must pass a written exam to be considered for the position of Assistant Engineer. There are four mandatory sections and two optional sections in the written test. General English, General Hindi, General Studies, and General Engineering Science are all 100-point parts. Civil Engineering 1 and 2 are optional, despite the fact that each paper is worth 100 points.
